Accreditation
During the 1999-2000 school year, St. Anne School embarked on an eighteen month journey towards formal accreditation of our institution. The entire approach, methodology and philosophy St. Anne employs to educate its students was meticulously reviewed, and where appropriate, modified to achieve the most successful outcome possible towards creating the best learning environment for our student body. St. Anne School earned the highest accreditation term possible, six years, from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Letter from WASC Accrediting Commission Accrediting Commission For Schools FROM: Donald G. Haught, Ed.D. Executive Director SUBJECT: Accreditation Recognition Congratulations on successfully achieving a full term accreditation. Conducting the in-depth self-study and preparing for the visit requires a tremendous effort. Maintaining an effective quality program for students in the face of today's challenges is a truly commendable feat. To create greater public awareness of the quality of schools like yours which receive full term accreditation, the Commission has authorized and encouraged the use of "WASC" flags. The flag showing the WASC logo can be flown along with your state and national flags or used as a banner. It is an important statement that your school is committed to accomplishing a viable, dynamic educational program. Again, congratulations on your full term accreditation. Expected School Wide Learning Results (ESLR's) An outcome of the WASC study was a codified list of expected results from a student attending St. Anne School. This list is now a main focus of our staff as a benchmark for "Educating the Whole Child".
