STRIKE ZONES

Student demerits will accumulate during each 9-week grading period. The number of demerits earned during these time periods will place them into one of three strike zones. Each of the strike zones will be overseen by a member of the administration, and corrective measures will be taken based on the severity and repetitive nature of the offense, as well as strike zone students have moved into. At the conclusion of each 9-week period, demerits will be removed according to the chart below.

>While in Strike Zone 2, students lose their Friday Spirit dress and Free Dress privileges.

STRIKE ZONE 3         9+ Demerits                                                                  To be Evaluated at 18 weeks

 

>While in Strike Zone 3, students lose their dance, sports and drama privileges.

 

Strike Zone 1 discipline will be carried out by the Counselor/Middle School Administrator.

Strike Zone 2 discipline will be carried out by the Assistant Principal.

Strike Zone 3 discipline will be carried out by the Principal.
