Safety and Security

St. Anne School is committed to providing a safe and secure campus environment for all community members, students, employees, and visitors. To this end, several policies and procedures are in effect and can be found below and detailed in the Parent Student Handbook.

CLOSED CAMPUS

St. Anne School is a highly secure, closed campus with a variety of security measures in place 24/7.

Armed Security Team
The St. Anne School team includes multiple armed security guards led by a Director of Safety and Security. The guards are present throughout the school day, as well as during daycare and after-hours events. The team works in partnership with the Laguna Niguel Orange County Sheriffs, who regularly patrol the school and surrounding areas.

Campus Access Barriers
The School's campus is surrounded by a perimeter fence with screening trees for visual privacy. Parking lot entry is limited by the use of steel safety bollards during school hours for additional safety.

All exterior doors are locked and are accessible only through an access control system.

Video Cameras
St. Anne School utilizes an extensive camera system to monitor and record internal/external areas of campus.

On weekends and at night, a video monitoring system helps keep our campus safe.

School hours:
Front Office - 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Daycare open until 6:00 p.m.

VISITOR POLICY

We take pride in our relationship with visitors and volunteers and want to foster community involvement. To that end, we have instituted the following visitor policies:

Visitors should park in designated visitor parking stalls and check in at the front office. Visitors are screened using the Raptor system and must present a valid driver's license or government-issued ID. Once checked in, visitors will be given a  photo ID badge which must be visible at all times while on campus.

All volunteers must complete the volunteer requirements package, which includes Safe Environment training and Livescan fingerprinting.

St. Anne School has the right to refuse campus access to visitors or ask visitors to leave campus.

FIRST AID AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

First Aid
St. Anne School employs two full-time registered nurses. During each school year, the school stores first aid supplies, food, and water for each person on campus.

Additionally, three AED's (defibrillators) have been placed strategically throughout campus.

Preparedness Drills
St. Anne School conducts ongoing preparedness drills to train students and employees on what to do in the event of an on-campus incident.
