Early Child Development Center
Message from the Director
Welcome to St. Anne Early Child Development Center, where we believe that children need to be allowed time for childhood. Our NAEYC-accredited early child development center embraces these significant years of development by providing opportunities for our young Knights to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively through play and exploration.
St. Anne Early Child Education (ECE) teachers are highly-trained professionals in the early education field. They create a nurturing environment that promotes a positive sense of self. Children at St. Anne ECDC are encouraged to learn through a creative curriculum and academic-rich activities appropriate to each child’s individual stage of development. Our curriculum also focuses on creative development through the arts, thinking, reasoning, math, science, reflection, problem-solving, and social/emotional competence through language and social interactions. Technology is integrated within classrooms with SmartBoards in Pre-Kindergarten, and Computer Interest centers are equipped with MacBook Air computers.
At St. Anne ECDC, we believe that traditional indoor classroom activities can be available in outdoor exploration as well. The outdoor classroom is an extension of our young Knights' learning, providing interest centers for quiet reading, dramatic play, manipulatives, bike-riding, and gardening in the Knight-ingale Garden.
The Early Child Development Center is a great place for young children to develop healthy relationships and a love for learning in a safe and caring environment.
