St. Anne FPS Team Takes First in Junior Division at State Bowl

This weekend the St. Anne School Future Problem Solving Team headed to San Diego to represent St. Anne at the 34th Annual California Future Problem Solving State Bowl. The FPS team brought home 16 awards across six different divisions! With the team’s success, they will once again be representing St. Anne School at the International Future Problem Solving Competition in La Crosse, Wisconsin this June.

“Everyone’s joy, enthusiasm, and dedication to this program was contagious this weekend,” said program director Brittany Salemme.

St. Anne School alumni Sophia Mains, Chloe Kamp, Grace Aitken, Elle Peloso, and Kiley Espinera won first in the senior division for their Community Problem Solving project. In addition to their Community Problem Solving success Grace, Kiley, and Elle ​also won first place in the Global Issues Problem Solving Competition​, Senior Division. They will be competing alongside current St. Anne students at the International Competition this year representing San Clemente and San Juan Hills High School in the Senior Community Problem Solving Program.​
 
“This year has been a beautiful journey, and none of this could have been accomplished without our enthusiastic students and the amazing FPS Coaches: Lori Kershaw, Abbey Hilliard, David Wheat, and Tiffany Hershi,” said Ms. Salemme. “Thank you to everyone who supported our FPS family and was​ involved in letting us participate and represent during this event!”
