On-Campus Experiential Learning

On-campus experiential learning activities bring learning to life for St. Anne students.  By connecting academic content to real-world situations, we invite students to solve problems, explore possibilities, and discover how they can make a difference.

In Lower School, on-campus experiential activities include:

  • Ellis Island Day
  • Polar Express Day
  • Walk Through California
  • Wax Museum
  • Colonial Day
  • 100th Day Celebration
  • Traveling Scientist

Off-Campus Field Studies

Field Studies are customized programs that connect students with science and history. These programs emphasize natural science, STEM, historical studies, discovery, community action, and leadership. Through field studies trips, teachers and administrators provide students with significant in-depth activities that connect to specific learning objectives and foster class camaraderie. Students engage in experiential and hands-on activities and participate in outings that focus on environmental science, historical discovery, and skills-building activities.
